This week I had the pleasure of meeting Allen Lam. Allen is a sophomore and currently majoring in Kinesiology. He likes working as a physical therapist at a local hospital. I later found out that Allen is also a commuter, just like me. He lives in Fountain Valley, which is about a 20 minutes commute. Allen admitted that he can’t really draw or paint but has a great appreciation for art as a whole.
After our little talk, we roamed around the Tricia E. Rangel gallery, looking at bricks. These bricks probably has a deeper meaning to it since it was from the artist’s grandfather’s graveyard. We didn’t quite understand why, but it was really interesting the way it was assembled and put together in a rectangular shape. After all, it was nice getting to know Allen.
